About

Hi, I’m Mure (aka The Wild Pretanī). With a background in history, writing, and rhetoric, I’m also an Animist pursuing thoughtful and meaningful reflections on a range of topics. While content may, in some way, reconnect with the name of this blog (Pretanī = Brythonic-speaking peoples… especially those of long ago), I don’t want to say that’s the exclusive theme. If something catches your eye, follow along and see how, over time, the posts define the overall theme of the blog.

I read things, I think, and then I write.

Current curiosities come from a range of readings, to include, but not limited to… The Wakeful World and Living Druidry, by Emma Restall Orr; God is Red, by Vine Deloria Jr.; Braiding Sweetgrass, by Robin Wall Kimmerer; etc., etc.

If you’re just stopping by or are interested in following, I hope you find something that resonates with you.
